Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup (150g) Unsalted Butter (melted)
- 1/3 cup (67g) Brown Sugar
- 1 cup (200g) Granulated White Sugar
- 2 tsp (10ml) Vanilla Extract
- 2 Large Eggs at room temperature
- 2 1/4 cups (280g) All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 tsp (1g) Salt
- 1 tsp (4g) Baking Soda
- 1/3 cup (55g) Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup (110g) M&M’s (plus 1/4 cup or 55g)

Directions:
- Line an 8in (20cm) square baking pan with parchment paper. Make sure to leave a 2-inch overhang for easy lifting.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a large bowl, place the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes. You can use a wire whisk if you don’t want to use an electric mixer.
- Sift the flour, salt, and baking soda over the mixture. Stir gently with a spatula until just combined. It will form a thick batter.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of M&M’s.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan and place the remaining M&M’s (1/4 cup) on top.
- Bake for 30 – 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool to room temperature and cut into squares.
- Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
