Healthy Chocolate Mug Cake in 1 Minute (Egg-Free)


Healthy chocolate mug cake in 1 minute (egg-free)! Learn how to make a fluffy and delicious chocolate cake in just one minute! The perfect gluten-free and vegan-friendly cake for a quick and easy chocolate fix!

Ingredients:

*For better results, use measuring spoons.

Chocolate Cake:
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp Brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Almond Flour*
  • 1 Tbsp Rice flour or gluten-free flour*
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp Melted butter or Coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp Regular milk or Vegetable milk
  • A few drops of vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate chips

*If you want to use regular plain flour, skip the almond and oat flours and use only 2 tablespoons of plain flour instead.

Topping:
  • Melted chocolate
  • Chocolate chips

Directions:
  1. In a large mug (200ml or bigger), place the cocoa powder, sugar, almond flour, rice flour, and baking powder. Stir to combine the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the coconut oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until it forms a smooth batter.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips. Make sure the batter fills only half of the mug.
  4. Microwave for 1 minute or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Time may vary depending on the oven. You can microwave for 10 to 20 seconds more if necessary.
  5. If using an oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Spread melted chocolate over the cake and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
