Fluffy and Moist Nutella Cake (Egg-Free)

Ingredients:
Cake:
  • 1 cup (130g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp (8g) Baking Powder
  • 3/4 cup (180g) Milk
  • 1/4 cup (52g) Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup (150g) Nutella
Topping:
  • 2/3 cup (200g) Nutella
  • 2 Tbsp (20g) Chocolate Chips

Cake:
  1. Grease with butter and line with parchment paper a 7in (18cm) round cake pan. Set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  3. In a large bowl, place the flour and baking powder. Whisk to combine.
  4. Add the milk and vegetable oil. Stir until smooth, but do not overmix the flour.
  5. Add the Nutella and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely and unmold the cake.
Topping:
  1. Spread the Nutella evenly over the top of the cake. If the Nutella is too thick, microwave for 10-15 seconds before using it.
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and serve.

Store the cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
