Instructions:
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set it aside.
- Place the melted butter in a large bowl. Sift the cocoa powder, cornstarch, and powdered sugar on top.
- Add the vanilla and stir to combine.
- Sift the flour mixture on top and stir until if forms a dough.
- Portion the dough using a one-tablespoon scoop, roll into balls using the palms of your hands, and lightly press the top to flatten them. The dough is a bit crumbly, so make sure to press and shape into a ball before rolling it.
- Place them onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press down the center of the cookies to create an indentation using the end of a spatula or the back of a 1/4 measuring spoon. The edges will crack, and you can adjust the sides, since the cookies will maintain their shape after baked.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) for about 3 minutes before baking the cookies.
- Bake for about 10-15 minutes and let the cookies cool completely before removing them from the baking sheet.
- Fill the centers with Nutella.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
