5-Minute Chocolate Cake recipe! A quick and easy dessert that you can prepare in a microwave in just a few minutes!
Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 1/4 cup (30g) All-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp (25g) Granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp (12g) Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp (2g) Baking powder
- 1/3 cup (80g) Milk at room temperature
- 1 Tbsp (14g) Vegetable oil or melted butter
- A few drops of vanilla extract (optional)
For the Frosting:
- 2 tablespoons of Nutella (37g)
Instructions
- Grease a small microwave-safe container or baking dish (5-inch or 12cm square) with butter. Set it aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Stir to combine the dry ingredients.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla. Mix gently using a wire whisk or small fork until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared container and microwave for approximately 1 minute and 15 seconds, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. If the batter is still raw, microwave for an additional 10 seconds.
- Alternatively, you can bake it in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 8-12 minutes, adjusting the time as needed based on your oven.
- Spread Nutella on top of the cake and serve.
